10.7.08 - The CONCACAF qualifiers Cuba, Guatemala and USA received their group assignments following the draw for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2008 was held on 9 July in Brasilia, Brazil.

9.6.08 - Guatemala topped Cuba on penalties 5:3 after a 3:3 draw in the finals of the 2008 CONCACAF Futsal Championship at the Domo Polideportivo in Guatemala City on Sunday.

7.6.08 - Cuba and Guatemala progressed to the FIFA Futsal World Cup Brazil 2008 after defeating Panama and USA, respectively, in the semifinals of the CONCACAF Futsal Championship at the Domo Polideportivo in Guatemala City on Saturday.
