The Dominican Republic side has not lost in its last six regulation-time matches against Haitian teams in international club tournaments. The club lost on penalties, 4-3, in the final of the 2022 Caribbean Club Championship against Violette AC after a nil-nil draw in regulation time at Cibao FC Stadium.

Real Hope will be seeking its first victory in the tournament’s final phase after remaining unbeaten in the group stage, with two wins and two draws. Exilus is the leading scorer in the current edition, and the club’s all-time scorer in the competition, with five goals.

The winner on aggregate will advance to the Caribbean Cup Final and clinch a berth in the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup. Away goals will serve as the first tiebreaker. In the case of a 3-2 Real Hope win, extra time and penalties (if necessary) will decide the winner.
