Cibao FC ended a streak of seven consecutive matches without a loss. The first-leg defeat ended its best winning streak, which was five victories. The Orange Beast is the team with the most shots (99) in the current edition of the CCC, of which 45 shots were on target and 13 were goals.

Rivaldo Correa has been integral to the Cibao attack, scoring five goals in the tournament. The striker led his team in the first leg with seven shots.

The final pits the two winners from the group stage and the two highest-scoring teams in the tournament. Both teams have secured their place in the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup by reaching the final. The champion will receive a bye to the Round of 16 as an added advantage.

The series winner, on aggregate, will be crowned champion of the 2024 edition. Away goals serve as the first tiebreaker in case of a draw on aggregate. Extra time and penalties will be played to determine the champion if necessary.
