MIAMI, Florida – On Tuesday, FIFA conducted the official draw for the FIFA Club World Cup Saudi Arabia 2023. The 20th edition of the competition will be played between December 12-22, with Jeddah hosting all matches.
Pending confirmation of Conmebol's representative, the seven participating clubs were matched with their opponents.
Concacaf's champion, the 2023 Champions Cup winners Club León of Mexico, was drawn with 2023 Asian Football Confederations champions Urawa Reds of Japan in the second round.
Club Leon will make their Club World Cup debut on December 15. Should the Mexican side emerge victorious, they will advance to the Semifinals, where they will face the 2023 UEFA Champions League winners, Manchester City FC of England.
