MIAMI, Florida – The September window of the Road to W Gold Cup produced many great performances both at the individual and team levels.
Here are some of the more notable statistics from the 28 matches played across Leagues A, B and C.
A total of 122 goals were scored, meaning there was an average of four goals per match. League A had the highest average of goals per game, with 29 goals scored over the six games played for an average of 4.8 goals per game.
Maria Sanchez of Mexico scored the fastest goal when she found the back of the net just two minutes and 54 seconds in Mexico’s 6-0 win versus Trinidad and Tobago.
Among the standout performers was the Costa Rican duo of Priscila Chinchilla and Melissa Herrera, who each scored a hat trick in the Ticas’ 11-0 win against Saint Kitts and Nevis, making them the top scorers in League A.
Goalkeepers also held their own in League A, with Guatemala’s Alexia Estrada leading the way with 12 saves.

League B
League B was full of fireworks, evidenced by the 44 goals scored during the 12 games across the 12 teams in the league.
El Salvador were one of the best performing teams in League B with two wins from two matches and they also had the fastest goal scored in a match by Samaria Gomez, who tallied for her team just two minutes and three seconds into the 9-1 victory over Martinique in Group B.
Rianna Cyrus of Barbados had the only hat trick of the games in League B when she struck for a trio of goals in the 5-0 win against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in Group C.
But there were plenty of players bagging braces over the September games, as nine different players enjoyed double the fun during a match: Lesbia Puerto (HON), Gabrielle De Suza (ATG), Jaden Masters (BER), Jalade Trim (GUY), Samaria Gomez (SLV), Otesha Charles (GUY), Danya Gutierrez (SLV), Jya Ratteray Smith (BER) and Brenda Ceren (SLV).
Full credit is also deserving for Shanice Stevenson of Barbados and Rene-Corail Mirella of Martinique for leading different categories. Stevenson had the most assists in League B with two, while Mirella topped all League B GKs with 15 saves.

Louis was the only player in the entire September matches to have scored four goals in a game, while Thompson had a brace followed by a hat trick in back-to-back wins over Bahamas.
Carlia Johnson of Anguilla was the other player to have notched a hat trick in League C in September when she provided all the scoring for her team in the 3-1 win versus Cayman Islands.
Eartha Pond (LCA), Shamalyn Albert (LCA) and Melania Fullerton (GRN) tied for the most assists with two, while Turks and Caicos Islands GK Eradannia Ortiz registered the most saves with 17.
