Goals from Exon Perdomo and Frank Velasquez had the 2021 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship winners holding a 2-1 lead going into the third and final period, but a late surge from Brazil proved to be too much, as the South Americans scored three straight goals to emerge victorious.
El Salvador will look to close out the group stage in strong fashion on Tuesday when they face Switzerland.
The United States will be back in action in Group A on Monday when they take on Paraguay.
The 2021 CBSC runners-up must defeat the Paraguayans in order to keep their hopes alive of reaching the knockout round.
Alessandro Canale, with three goals thus far at the FBSWC, will lead the U.S. into what will be their second ever FBSWC contest with Paraguay.
