MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship continues with the third matchday in Group A on Thursday at the Malcolm Park Beach Soccer Facility in Nassau, The Bahamas.

El Salvador enters the final day of the group stage as the first-place team with six points. Mexico and Guatemala are second and third, respectively, with three points each. Costa Rica is fourth and will seek its first win of the campaign.

The two best teams in each group will progress to the semifinals. The two finalists in the tournament will qualify for the 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

Mexico vs. El Salvador

Mexico and El Salvador meet with first place in Group A up for grabs for the winner.

Mexico bounced back from an opening day defeat with a 3-1 win against Costa Rica. Héctor Acevedo, Gabriel Macías, and Enoch López scored to place Mexico in the top two, with sights on the next round.

Goals from Agustín Ruíz, Andersson Castro, Rubén Batres, Francisco Velásquez, Emerson Cerna, and a Heber Ramos brace led El Salvador to a 7-nil win against Guatemala on Wednesday. La Selecta features the highest-scoring offense, with 13 goals in two games.

Costa Rica vs. Guatemala

Costa Rica and Guatemala meet with their sights on finishing the group stage with a victory.

Los Ticos are searching for their first set of three points. Jesús Valencia and Eddie Jimenez have been the only men to find the back of the net for Costa Rica in consecutive defeats.

Guatemala began its campaign with a victory over Mexico before falling to El Salvador. José Lem leads Los Chapines with two goals, with Samuel Pérez and Pablo Crocker also scoring in the opening encounter.
