Mexico, USA, learn group fate at Beach Soccer World Cup Draw

MIAMI, Florida โ€“ Concacaf representatives Mexico and the United States learned their group stage fate on Friday during the 2024 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Draw held in Dubai.

The 2023 Beach Soccer World Cup will take place February 15-25, 2024 in the United Arab Emirates and will feature the top two teams from the 2023 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship, the U.S. and Mexico.

The U.S. have been drawn into Group A with hosts United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Italy.

Champions of the 2023 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship, the U.S. will be making their seventh appearance at the Beach Soccer World Cup and will attempt to advance from the group stage for the first time.

2023 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship runners-up Mexico have been drawn into Group D with 2023 Copa America de Beach Soccer champions Brazil, Oman and Portugal.

El Tricolor are also appearing in their seventh Beach Soccer World Cup and first since 2019. Mexicoโ€™s best finish was as runners-up in the 2007 edition.
