SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic – Both Metropolitan and Inter Moengo posted clean sheet victories in Monday’s action at the 2021 Flow Concacaf Caribbean Club Championship in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Metropolitan of Puerto Rico surged to the top of Group B thanks to a 4-0 victory over Real Rincon of Bonaire.
Hector Ramos, who has four career Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League goals, gave Metropolitan a 1-0 lead in the 6’.
A Rilove Janga own goal in the 39’ doubled the margin to 2-0 before Jorge Rivera bagged a brace with goals in the 75’ and 90+4’ to help secure the three points for the Boricuas.

In the nightcap in Group A, Inter Moengo of Suriname downed Flames United SC of Sint Maarten 12-0.
Rievaldo Doorson (8’, 69’), Romeo Kastiel (20’, 31’) and Miguel Darson (34’, 48’) all had braces, while Sergino Eduard (37’), Damian Brunswijk (64’), Anduelo Amoeferie (83’), Chamille Eduard (89’) and Jerrel Wijks (90+1’), plus a Flames United own goal completed the scoring for Inter Moengo.
