WILLEMSTAD, Curaçao – The 2024 CFU Club Shield concluded with Arnett Gardens FC winning its first title, 1-0 against Grenades FC, on Sunday at the Stadion Rignaal Jean Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao.

The final also completed the groups for the 2024 Concacaf Caribbean Cup. Arnett Gardens FC of Jamaica will complete Group A, while Grenades Football Club of Antigua and Barbuda will go to Group B.

Club Atlético Pantoja of the Dominican Republic defeated CCCUL Dublanc of Dominica on penalties in the third-place match.

Arnett Gardens FC wins first CFU Club Shield

Arnett Gardens FC earned a 1-nil win against Grenades Football Club in the CFU Club Shield Final.

Rushane Thompson scored the match-winning goal in the 73’ with a right-footed strike from outside the box.

The result gave Arnett Gardens FC its first CFU Club Shield. They are also the first Jamaican club to win the trophy.

Atlético Pantoja finish third on penalties

Club Atlético Pantoja and CCCUL Dublanc drew 1-1, with Atlético Pantoja winning 9-8 on penalties, in the third-place match.

Travist Joseph converted from the penalty spot in the 5’ to place Dublanc in the lead.

Luis Espinal was sent off with a red card in the 77’ as Atlético Pantoja concluded the match with ten men.

Robert Rosado tied the match in the 82’ to force a penalty shootout to decide the encounter.

Mario Marte saved Oran Sabaroche’s attempt in the ninth round, setting up Luis Diaz to strike the winning penalty as the Dominican side left the tournament with a victory.
