Pachuca were Concacaf Champions Cup winners in 2002, 2007, 2008, 2009-10 and 2016-17.
Five-time Concacaf champions Pachuca are back in the tournament for a second straight season after qualifying directly to the Round of 16 as 2022 Liga MX Apertura champions with the highest aggregate regular season points. The Tuzos are making their 10th appearance in the tournament, with their debut coming in 2000.
Many top players have worn the Pachuca jersey in the Concacaf Champions Cup, including Mexican National Team star striker Hirving Lozano, who is the club’s all-time top scorer in the tournament with nine goals in 13 matches. Lozano was the winner of both the Golden Boot and the Best Young Player Award during Pachuca’s title-winning campaign in 2016-17.
