Herediano will compete in their 16th Champions Cup and their first since the 2019 edition.
Herediano have qualified for the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup as 2023 Concacaf Central American Cup semifinalists. They will start in Round One. The Costa Rican club’s best finish came in the 2014-15 tournament when they reached the semifinals before falling to eventual champions Club America of Mexico.
The Ticos made their Champions Cup debut in the inaugural version in 1962. Yendrick Ruiz is the club’s all-time top scorer in the Champions Cup with 10 goals, while Pablo Salazar has the most appearances with 26 matches played.
