Tigres will appear in the Concacaf Champions Cup for the 11th time and finished as champions in 2020.
Tigres will attempt to win their first title since 2020 after qualifying as 2023 Liga MX Clausura champions. Tigres, who will start in Round One, have appeared in four Champions Cup finals overall, finishing as runners-up in the 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2019 editions. The Monterrey-based club last appeared in the 2023 edition and finished as semifinalists, losing to eventual champions Club Leon.
Andre-Pierre Gignac is the club’s all-time top scorer in the Champions Cup with 16 goals and won the Golden Boot and Golden Ball awards for the 2020 edition when he scored six goals to help Tigres win their lone Champions Cup title.
