SEATTLE, Washington – Talles Magno of New York City FC was selected on Wednesday as the recipient of the Scotiabank Young Player Award as the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League’s best young player.
The 19-year-old Brazilian attacker appeared in six matches in the 2022 SCCL, scoring three goals, including a brace in NYCFC’s 4-0 win over Santos de Guapiles of Costa Rica in the Round of 16 second leg.
