QUERETARO, Mexico - Guadalajara (1W-2D-4L, 5 points, GD-5) is feeling positive after rallying to pick up a point in Wednesday's 2-2 draw at Queretaro.

With his team down 2-1 in the second minute of second-half stoppage time -- and facing a potential fourth straight defeat -- Alan Pulido struck for his second goal of the game, sneaking a low, left-footed effort from 13-yards out just inside the right post.

For 11th-place Chivas, the dramatic strike could spark their season.

"We came for the three points, but as the match unfolded and they scored a goal on me in the 88th minute, I credit the team's reaction," said Guadalajara goalkeeper Rodolfo Cota.  "We fought until the last minute and were able to get a point here."

Pulido's brace is a good sign for a side that opens its 2018 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League schedule against host Cibao FC on February 22 in the Dominican Republic.  Chivas had been shutout in its previous two Liga MX Clausura outings.

"We should show better finishing and we need for those playing forward to get on track," said defender Jair Pereira.  "You can always highlight the team's effort.  Since the start Chivas was superior.  We always had scoring chances, although we are lacking in our finishing.  We showed well though and had good possession of the ball."

Guadalajara returns to action Saturday, when it hosts current SCCL champion Pachuca.
