MIAMI The 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup delivered unforgettable moments of teamwork and individual brilliance, culminating with CF Pachuca winning its sixth trophy in the grand finale.

From Round One to the Final, several players contributed to their club’s success throughout each stage.

Here is a look at the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup Best XI:

Goalkeeper 

Patrick Schulte, Columbus Crew – Winner of the Best Goalkeeper Award, Schulte was a pivotal piece of Crew’s run to the final with 36 saves. He also overcame adverse moments in his series-winning performances, including crucial saves in the penalty shootout against Tigres UANL in the quarterfinals.

Defenders

Igor Lichnovsky, Club America – Lichnovsky was one of the standout center-backs in the competition, with 16 steals and 19 clearances for Club America. The Chilean was also one of the most reliable passers, with 93.21% effectiveness.

Yevhen Cheberko, Columbus Crew – Ukranian defender Yevhen Cheberko provided solidness in the backline to help the MLS champions to its first CCC Final with 10 steals and 11 clearances.

Bryan Gonzalez, CF Pachuca – The 21-year-old Pachuca left-back was a two-way player with nine goals and nine clearances to help defensively, plus one goal, one assist, and six shots in attack.

Midfielders

Nelson Deossa, CF Pachuca – The 24-year-old Colombian has been a welcomed addition in his first season at Pachuca, providing eight steals in midfield and delivering two goals, two assists, and 17 shots on offense.

Emilio Rodriguez, CF Pachuca – Winner of the Young Player Award, presented by ARAMCO, the 21-year-old Rodriguez scored in the semifinal second leg against Club America and the final against Columbus Crew to help Pachuca win the tournament. He also attributed two assists, eight steals, and two clearances in his 489 minutes played.

Diego Valdes, Club America – Valdes was one of the orchestrators of America’s high-octane offense. He contributed two goals, three assists, 14 shots, seven steals, and two clearances.

Diego Rossi, Columbus Crew – The Uruguayan winger was one of the Crew’s game-changers with three goals, including one in each leg against Tigres UANL in the quarterfinals.

Forwards

Alejandro Zendejas, Club America – With five goals, two assists, and 18 shots, Zendejas was one of the top attackers in the 2024 edition. He scored in every phase from Round One until America’s elimination in the semifinals.

Salomon Rondon, CF Pachuca – Winner of the Best Player Award, presented by Scotiabank, and the Top Scorer Award, presented by Qatar Airways, Rondon was a key piece of Pachuca’s championship team. The Venezuelan provided nine goals and one assist, including two hat-trick performances and a brace in the final.

Oussama Idrissi, CF Pachuca – One of the top players throughout the tournament, Idrissi was another key man to Pachuca’s championship campaign with one goal, six assists, and 17 shots.
