Viñas claims Scotiabank Young Player Award

MONTERREY, Mexico – Federico Viñas of Club America was selected on Thursday as the recipient of the Scotiabank Young Player Award as the 2021 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League’s best young player.

The 23-year-old Uruguayan attacker appeared in five matches in the 2021 SCCL, scoring three goals, including a brace in Las Aguilas’ 3-1 win over the Portland Timbers in the quarterfinal second leg.
