ALAJUELA – Aaron Suarez was selected on Wednesday as the recipient of the Youth Revelation Award as the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf League’s best young player.
The 20-year-old Alajuelense MF played in nine of the Costa Rican club’s matches in the tournament, starting seven and scoring three goals, including a spectacular free kick in Wednesday’s Final second leg.

Suarez is the second Alajuelense player to earn this distinction, following in the footsteps of DF Fernan Faerron in the 2020 edition.
