MIAMI – The most anticipated part of the season has arrived with the playoffs of the different women’s professional leagues across Concacaf.
The 2024 NWSL season saw a new chapter written in the league history, reaching new milestones in every corner of every team.
Temwa Chawinga was one of the top stories after setting a new NWSL record with 20 goals in her first season with the Kansas City Current to win the 2024 Golden Boot.
The Malawian forward helped KC Current finish the regular season in 4th place and win the NWSL x LIGA MX Femenil Summer Cup championship. She proved to be one of the most impactful signings in league history, becoming the first active player in the NWSL to score against all 13 active teams.

Corral also holds the record for most goals in a season, scoring 20 goals in the Clausura 2023 to win her first scoring title. She scored 19 goals in the Clausura 2024 to win her second title and has now gained her third in the Apertura 2024.
The Mexican forward helped Club Pachuca clinch their spot in the playoffs as the fourth-place team in the standings. The Tuzas will seek to reach their fourth Liga MX Femenil Final and first since the Clausura 2023 season.
