MIAMI, Florida – On Saturday, the Draw for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia/New Zealand was held at the Aotea Centre in Auckland, New Zealand in which the four Concacaf teams in the tournament – United States, Canada, Costa Rica and Jamaica -- learned their group stage fate.

In addition, the two Concacaf teams in February’s Play-Off Tournament, Haiti and Panama, also found out which group they would be slotted into should they emerge victorious from their respective Play-Off Group.

Four-time Women’s World Cup champions the United States have been drawn into Group E against Vietnam, Netherlands and the Play-Off Tournament Group A winner (Cameroon, Thailand or Portugal).

The group will feature a rematch of the 2019 Women’s World Cup Final in France when the U.S defeated the Dutch 2-0.

The U.S. kick off their campaign on July 22 versus Vietnam at Eden Park in Auckland, followed by the Netherlands on July 27 at Wellington Regional Stadium in Wellington and then the group finale at Eden Park on August 1 against the Play-Off Tournament Group A winner.

Reigning Olympic Gold Medal winners Canada have been slotted into Group B where they will take on co-hosts Australia, along with Nigeria and the Republic of Ireland.

Canada spring into action on July 21 against Nigeria at the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium in Melbourne, before meeting the Republic of Ireland on July 26 at the Perth Rectangular Stadium in Perth and then closing with Australia on July 31 at the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium.

Costa Rica’s second Women’s World Cup appearance will begin in Group C. The Ticas will face Spain, Zambia and 2015 Women’s World Cup champions Japan.

Costa Rica open the tournament on July 21 versus Spain at the Wellington Regional Stadium, followed by Japan on July 26 at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin, New Zealand and then wrapping up the group on July 31 against Zambia at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton, New Zealand.

Group F will be where Jamaica begin their Women’s World Cup journey, with France, Brazil and the Play-Off Tournament Group C winner (Chinese Taipei, Paraguay, Papua New Guinea or Panama).

The Reggae Girlz open with France on July 23 at the Sydney Football Stadium in Sydney, followed by the Play-Off Tournament Group C winner on July 29 at the Perth Rectangular Center and then ending the group stage on August 2 with Brazil at the Melbourne Rectangular Center.

Should Haiti emerge as the winner of Play-Off Tournament Group B, they will slot into Group D and face England, Denmark and China.

If Panama win Play-Off Tournament Group C, they will play in the aforementioned Group F along with fellow Concacaf nation Jamaica.
