MIAMI – The table is set and all European teams know their upcoming challenges to reach success this year both domestically and in continental competition. Kenti Robles, Mexican defender for Real Madrid, is ready to face it all.
After appearing in 60 matches over the last two league seasons with Real Madrid, she was named one of the captains for this season. Robles also knows what it’s like to fight for titles, having won six Spanish leagues in her career with the likes of FC Barcelona and Atletico de Madrid. But the domestic league is not the only goal to achieve for her and the Merengues.
After winning all of their encounters, Robles and Real Madrid qualified for the Group Stage of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, a tournament that has proven the talent of the team, as they reached quarterfinals last year and this year are aiming to go further into the competition.
The draw put Real Madrid into one of the toughest groups, against Chelsea, PSG and Albania’s KF Vllaznia, making Robles compete against other Concacaf players that are also aiming for European glory. The first match for Real Madrid and Robles will be against KF Vllaznia on October 20.

But this is not the only thing on Real Madrid's calendar, as they sit in third place of the Liga F, the professional league in Spain, having won all of their matches so far with a reinforced squad that will allow them to fight for it all.
For Robles, besides all of the challenges ahead for her in her club, she is also part of the reformation of the Mexican Women’s National Team, who just appointed Pedro Lopez as their new Head Coach, after failing to qualify on home soil for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia/New Zealand.
El Tricolor has already started to work on this new journey with some friendlies upcoming against Chile on October 10.
Robles has proven to be a reference for both club and country, always ready to jump into the field and help take her side a step further, proving she means business every time she wears the captain armband.
