Romell Quioto (Honduras)
At 25-years-old, Romell Quioto’s footballing path is on an increasingly upward trajectory.
After launching his professional career with Vida in 2010, the forward moved to Olimpia in 2014. There, he went on to win three league titles, scoring 36 goals in 78 appearances. Quioto also tallied four times in 10 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League outings.
With Honduras, he is currently playing a featured role in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying effort (team-best four through matchday six in the CONCACAF Hexagonal). Quioto has also competed for the Catrachos in one CONCACAF Gold Cup and helped it to a fourth-place finish in the 2016 Olympic Games.
In December 2016, Quioto joined the Houston Dynamo, becoming the first player in club history to score in his first two Major League Soccer appearances.
