GLENDALE, Arizona – Mexico’s march to a record-extending eighth CONCACAF Gold Cup title continued with a 1-0 quarterfinal win over Honduras on Thursday night at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Rodolfo Pizarro scored the only goal in the fourth minute to set-up a rematch of the 2015 final with Jamaica – a 2-1 winner over Canada earlier in the evening – in the semifinals on Sunday at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

The quarterfinal result increased the Tricolor’s unbeaten streak in the competition to 10 games, while the Hondurans – excluding a 3-0 victory over French Guiana by forfeit in the group stage – went winless in a seventh consecutive outing.

In the other semifinal, Costa Rica and the United States will square off Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
