Champions Cup Round of 16 highlights This Week in Concacaf

MIAMI — The 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup highlights This Week in Concacaf with the opening encounters of the Round of 16.

Five champions will begin their respective campaigns by entering the tournament in this round: Concacaf Caribbean Cup winners Cavalier FC, Concacaf Central American Cup winners LD Alajuelense, MLS Cup champions Los Angeles Galaxy, Liga MX Champions Club América, and Leagues Cup champions Columbus Crew.

Here’s what is on tap for the coming week:

2025 Concacaf Champions Cup

The 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup continues its 60th edition of the region’s premier club tournament with the opening encounters in the Round of 16. 

FC Cincinnati will host Tigres UANL to kick off Tuesday’s encounters. Pumas UNAM will meet LD Alajuelense to follow the night. Columbus Crew will seek to return to the CCC Final when it visits Los Angeles FC.

On Wednesday, CD Guadalajara meets Club América to add another chapter in the history of Mexico’s Clásico. CS Herediano will host LA Galaxy simultaneously. Two matches in the Pacific Northwest will conclude the night with Seattle Sounders FC hosting Cruz Azul and Vancouver Whitecaps FC welcoming CF Monterrey.

Inter Miami CF will host Cavalier FC in Thursday’s lone encounter to end the week.
