TOLUCA, Mexico– Last week Concacaf and the Mexican Football Federation Sector Amateur hosted a successful Train The Trainers Program in which 42 participants received training for Concacaf Instructor Certification.
Held at FMF’s regional headquarters in Toluca, participants from Member Associations Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Mexico attended classes over the course of five days in which theoretical sessions were held both in the classroom and on the field.
The program allows Concacaf Instructors to determine the potential of the participants, who are evaluated at the end of the program and considered for Concacaf Instructor Certification.
Should certification be obtained, the coach-educator will become a designated Concacaf Instructor and have the opportunity to deliver Concacaf D & E License Courses.
