Concacaf has officially unveiled its 2024 Competition Technical Analysis and Insights Report, a comprehensive review of a number of the region’s competitions. This report provides an in-depth breakdown of tactical trends, performance metrics, and key takeaways from tournaments such as the Concacaf U-20 Championship, Concacaf Champions Cup, and the inaugural Concacaf W Gold Cup.

The 2024 report introduces an innovative feature that enhances the way technical analysis is presented—integrated video content that allows readers to instantly access expert insights. The report highlights Mexico’s dominant performance in the Concacaf U-20 Championship, showcasing their ability to adapt formations and use wingbacks effectively. Mexico maintained 65.5% possession—the highest in the tournament—while excelling in ball retention and set-piece execution.
