Everyone in the Concacaf family is shocked and saddened by the incidents that took place last night at Estadio Cuscatlán, in San Salvador, El Salvador. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families of this terrible tragedy.
The safety of participants and fans attending football matches is of the utmost importance. The Confederation will fully support any effort aimed at clarifying what happened and implementing measures to prevent this type of incident in the future.
