MOSCOW, Russia – After the conclusion of the 33rd Concacaf Ordinary Congress this evening in Moscow, Concacaf President Victor Montagliani held a press conference at the event to accredited members of the media.
Among the questions asked to the Concacaf President was the possibility of the Caribbean and Central America as sites of the CONCACAF Gold Cup in the near future and if the Mexican National Team will return to competing in the Copa Libertadores of America.
Montagliani was also asked about the possibilities of the unified bid from Canada, Mexico and the United States obtaining the sufficient votes in the FIFA Congress to be elected as the site of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
