MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf U-17 Men’s Qualifiers will kick off on February 7 with a new single-round format to determine which eight national teams will represent the region at the 2025 FIFA U-17 Men’s World Cup.
What
The 2025 Concacaf U-17 Men’s Qualifiers will be the sixteenth edition of the tournament as an Under-17 competition and the twentieth, including its initial years as a U-16 tournament.
Who
The 35 national teams that will participate are:
Group A: Canada, Bermuda, Curacao, Anguilla, and Turks and Caicos Islands
Group B: Costa Rica, Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, British Virgin Islands, and Sint Maarten
Group C: Mexico, Nicaragua, Barbados, Belize, and Dominica
Group D: Honduras, Puerto Rico, Bonaire and Saint Martin
Group E: Haiti, Guatemala, Antigua & Barbados, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Group F: United States, Cuba, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and US Virgin Islands
Group G: Panama, Dominican Republic, Aruba, and Grenada
Group H: Jamaica, El Salvador, Cayman Islands, and Saint Lucia
When
The 2025 Concacaf U-17 Men’s Qualifiers will be played from February 7 to 16, to determine the eight nations that will advance to the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Where
Matches will be divided across six venues:
● Bermuda will host Group A
● Costa Rica will host Groups B and F
● Mexico will host Group C
● Honduras will host Group D
● Guatemala will host Groups E and H
● Panama will host Group G
History
Between 1983, 1985, 1987, and 1988, the tournament was classified as an Under-16 competition. Starting with the 1991 edition in Trinidad and Tobago, FIFA officially designated it as an Under-17 Championship.
With nine titles, Mexico is the Concacaf nation with the most Concacaf Men's U-17 Championship victories. The United States is next with three trophies, followed by Costa Rica and Cuba with one conquest each.
From 1999 to 2007, the FIFA U-17 Men's World Cup qualifiers began. In 2009, the semifinals and final were canceled due to the swine flu outbreak. The 2020 edition was canceled due to COVID-19.
This will be the first Concacaf U-17 Men’s Qualifiers that aligns with the new annual FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Format
The new Concacaf U-17 Men’s Qualifiers consist of a single round, in which the 35 participating Member Associations are split into eight groups, where each team will play against each team in its group once.
