The qualifiers will be played between August 26 - September 3 and include the participation of 28 Concacaf Member Associations, all ranked third and below based on the current Concacaf Women’s U-17 Ranking.

Following round-robin play, where each member association will play one match against each of the other member associations in the same group, the group winners (six teams) will all advance to the Championship’s group stage.

Based on the rankings, the teams will be split into five pots as follows:

  • Pot 1 (six next-ranked teams): Canada, Costa Rica, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and El Salvador

  • Pot 2 (six next best-ranked teams): Trinidad & Tobago, Guatemala, Panama, Bermuda, Honduras, and Cuba

  • Pot 4 (six next best-ranked teams): Antigua & Barbuda, Anguilla, US Virgin Islands, Turks & Caicos Islands, Dominica, and Cayman Islands

  • Pot 5 (four lowest ranked teams): Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, Guadeloupe, Martinique, and Saint Martin

After the draw, Concacaf will confirm the schedule, countries, and stadiums which will host qualifying matches.

In the previous edition of the Concacaf Women’s U-17 Championship, played in the Dominican Republic, in 2022, the United States won its fifth title after defeating Mexico 2-1 in the final. In the third-place match, Canada topped Puerto Rico 3-0 to secure a berth in the 2022 FIFA Women’s Under-17 World Cup in India.
