MIAMI – The Final Round of the 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers will kick off on March 31 to determine which four national teams will represent the region at the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

The Final Round of the 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers.

The revamped Concacaf U-17 Women’s Qualifiers began with a 22-team Round One, which was played from January 27 and February 1.

After round-robin play, the six group winners (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Puerto Rico) and the two best second-place finishers (Bermuda and Trinidad and Tobago) progressed to the Final Round, joining the Confederation’s four best-ranked teams (Canada, Haiti, Mexico, and the United States).

Who

The 12 national teams that will participate in the Final Round are:

Group A: Mexico, Haiti, Costa Rica, Bermuda

Group B: Canada, Puerto Rico, Panama, Nicaragua

Group C: United States, El Salvador, Honduras, Trinidad and Tobago

When

The 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers will take place from March 31 to April 6.

Where

Matches will be split across three venues:

· Group A will be hosted at the FMF Headquarters in Toluca, Mexico.

· Group B will be hosted at Estadio Nacional in Managua, Nicaragua.

· Group C will be hosted at Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago.

History

The Final Round will conclude the ninth Concacaf U-17 Women’s Qualifiers, the first edition that aligns with the new annual FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

In the eight previous editions, the tournament starting in 2008, the United States has been the most decorated team, having six trophies through the years 2008, 2012, 2016, 2018, 2022, and 2024, being back-to-back champions four times.

Canada and Mexico are the other two countries that have achieved this U-17 honor, with the Canucks winning the trophy in 2010, as well as being runners-up twice in 2012 and 2013.

Mexico lifted their only trophy in 2013, getting the silver medal on five different occasions in 2010, 2016, 2018, 2022 and most recently in 2024.
