LOS ANGELES, California – Jesus Ferreira of the United States has earned the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup Top Scorer Award presented by Qatar Airways after finishing as the top scorer in the 2023 Gold Cup with seven goals in five games.
Ferreira made history by becoming the first player to score hat tricks in two different games during a single Gold Cup when he scored three goals in back-to-back group stage matches.
Ferreira found the back of the net three times in the 6-0 win versus Saint Kitts and Nevis and then repeated that feat in the 6-0 victory over Trinidad and Tobago.
Ferreira also became the first U.S. player to score hat tricks in two consecutive matches.
The FC Dallas man also collected a goal in the semifinals against Panama.
