MIAMI – El Salvador retained its spot atop Group A as the 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League continued Sunday with two League B encounters at Stadion Antonio Trenidat in Rincon, Bonaire.
The Salvadorans closed out September play with six points from its two matches. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines also won, keeping pace in second place with four points. Bonaire has one point to follow in third place, and Montserrat is fourth after the September encounters.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines won 2-nil against Montserrat 2-nil for its first win of the current campaign.
Cornelius Stewart struck the opening goal in the 15’, as Bishon Richards played a long ball from the back, allowing the striker to slot the ball past the opposing goalkeeper.
Stewart, the Vincy Heat’s all-time scorer in CNL play, has now found the back of the net in each edition of the tournament.
Brandon Barzey stepped up to the penalty spot in the 60’ for a chance to equalize but was denied by Saint Vincent and the Grenadines goalkeeper Lemus Christopher.
Diel Spring extended the lead in the 88’ as Stewart picked up the assist.
Lemus Christopher finished the match with five saves to earn the clean sheet.
