MIAMI – The 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League resumes on Thursday, with Group A on display in League B.
Group leaders El Salvador are looking to move closer towards promotion and can seal the first-place spot depending on the result of the other match in the group. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are also pushing for promotion, two points removed in second place, and will seek to keep pace for the top spot.
Bonaire and Montserrat will also look to add points and remain in the second tier. All Group A matches in November will be played at Estadio Cuscatlán in San Salvador, El Salvador.
Montserrat vs. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Montserrat meets Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the first bout of the day in Group A.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines hopes to replicate its success from the September matchup against Montserrat, which finished in a 2-nil victory with goals from Cornelius Stewart and Diel Spring.
The Vincy Heat have had the advantage in the four all-time matches between the nations, winning all of them and outscoring Montserrat 29-0.
Montserrat will look to the likes of Lyle Taylor and Brandon Barzey to rise from the bottom of the table and avoid relegation.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines hope to carry momentum from an October win over El Salvador. The Vincy Heat is only two points shy of the top spot in the group, and a victory would help in its promotion aspirations.
Bonaire vs. El Salvador
La Selecta is on the verge of qualifying for the 2025 Gold Cup but still has some work to do, which begins against Bonaire.
These two teams met in September, and it was a narrow 2-1 victory for El Salvador that was aided by an own goal. The talent is evident for El Salvador, but David Dóniga’s squad is aiming for more consistency in a critical November window.
