SAN CRISTÓBAL, Dominican Republic – Haiti bid farewell to League B with a 3-1 win over Bermuda in the 2022–23 Concacaf Nations League at the Estadio Panamericano in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic.

Les Grenadiers secured first place in Group B in their previous encounter, but that didn’t stop the Gold Cup-bound nation from continuing to score.

Bermuda also looked to conclude group play with a victory and it was the visitors who nearly scored first with Zeiko Lewis forcing a save in the 9’ from goalkeeper Josue Duverger.

Haiti had a good look on goal in the 16’ thanks to a corner kick, but Mondy Prunier’s attempt was wide.

A drive down the right flank from Carnejy Antoine led to service inside the box as Haiti opened the scoring in the 25' with a strike by Frantzdy Pierrot, who scored his second consecutive in CNL action.

Jeppe Simonsen doubled the lead for Haiti in the 26' on a pass by Bryan Alceus. It also marked a second international goal for Simonsen.

Carnejy Antoine extended Haiti’s led to three in the 47+3’ with a masterful hit from outside the box. It was the 11th international tally for Antoine and first of the year.

Haiti continued attacking into the second half and came close on a corner kick in the 66’ as Fredler Christophe tried an attempt for distance on the second chance.

Jai Bean took one back for the visitors to make it 3-1 in the 75’ with a lob over the goalkeeper inside the box.

Bermuda kept pushing and Daniel Cook tried to surprise with a shot on goal from the left flank in the 88’, but Duverger did well to handle the attempt. Luke Robinson also fought for a second for the visitors into stoppage time but was dispossessed by the Haitian defense as the match came to an end.
