MIAMI, Florida – The October window of the 2023-24 Concacaf Nations League will bring an end to play in League A, with the top-two teams from Group A and Group B advancing to the quarterfinal round.
The Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals are scheduled for November in which the winners of each two-legged home-and-away series will qualify for the Concacaf Nations League Finals scheduled for March 2024 and the CONMEBOL Copa America 2024 to be held in the United States.
The four teams defeated in the quarterfinals will still have another opportunity to qualify for the Copa America via a Play-In in March 2024.
Here is a detailed explanation of how the 2023-24 Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinal match-ups are determined:
After the completion of Group A and Group B, the first and second-place finishers from each group will advance to the quarterfinals. In the quarterfinals, the top two teams from Group A and Group B will join the four top-ranked League A national teams based on the Concacaf Rankings as of March 2023: Mexico, United States, Canada, and Costa Rica.
League A’s quarterfinal round will be played in a home-and-away format, with the aggregate score winners in each quarterfinal match-up advancing to both the 2023-24 Concacaf Nations League Finals and the CONMEBOL Copa America USA 2024.
The quarterfinal pairings will pit the four top-ranked League A teams against the winners and runners-up of Group A and Group B. The winners and runners-up in Group A and Group B will be ranked by the number of points accumulated during the group stage.
Jamaica and Honduras have already qualified for the Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinals, but it is yet to be determined which of the four top-ranked opponents they will face.

The top-ranked League A team (based on the Concacaf Rankings as of October 2023), will play against the lowest-ranked group runner-up, while the second-ranked League A team, will play the highest-ranked group runner-up.
The third-ranked team will face the lowest-ranked group winner and the lowest ranked team will take on the highest-ranked group winner.
