MIAMI – The 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League resumes on Thursday as teams in League B aim to improve their respective positions in the promotion and relegation races.
El Salvador, Saint Lucia, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic enter the November encounters as the group leaders seeking to retain their standing in aspirations of moving to League A.
At the conclusion of the Group Stage, the winners and the two best runners-up will qualify for the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup and Gold Cup Prelims, respectively.
Group A
Montserrat meets Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, with Bonaire facing El Salvador later in the day, as Group A resumes play on Thursday at Estadio Cuscatlan in San Salvador, El Salvador.
El Salvador will seek to lock up its Gold Cup qualification, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will strive to keep its hopes alive in the race for first place. The Vincy Heat are in second place of the group with seven points, while La Selecta are leaders with nine points.
Bonaire and Montserrat will be playing to avoid relegation and make a run to finish within the top two.
Group B
Saint Lucia meets Grenada, followed by Saint Martin against Curaçao, as Group B play takes place on Friday at the Ergilio Hato Stadium in Willemstad, Curaçao.
Saint Lucia is atop the group with nine points, but Curaçao lurks in second place with seven points. The hosts for the November matches are coming off a win and a draw and seek to rally behind their home crowd in the battle for the top spot.
Grenada has four points in third place, and Saint Martin has three points in fourth place. Both sides will seek to avoid relegation and make a late run into the top two.
Group C
Sint Maarten meets Haiti, followed by Puerto Rico against Aruba, in Group C action on Friday at Estadio Centroamericano in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.
It will be a historic match in the history of the Concacaf Nations League at the Centroamericano Mayaguez Stadium, Mayaguez, PUR. When the referee blows the whistle to start the match, it will mark the 400th match in CNL history.
Led in attack by Duckens Nazon, high-scoring Haiti is on the verge of promotion after racking up 18 goals in four games, the most of any team in CNL. Les Grenadiers are unbeaten in the current edition and hold first place with 12 points.
Haiti needs just one point to secure promotion and punch its Gold Cup ticket. Puerto Rico and Sint Maarten are tied with six points each in second and third place, respectively. Aruba, winless in the tournament, is facing relegation to League C with zero points in hand.
Group D
Bermuda meets Antigua and Barbuda, followed by Dominica against the Dominican Republic in Group D on Saturday at Estadio Cibao in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
Coming off a pair of 5-nil victories over Antigua and Barbuda, the Dominican Republic is set on promotion. They are undefeated in first place with 12 points, but Bermuda trails them in second place with nine points.
Dominica, on three points, and Antigua and Barbuda, with zero points, strive to avoid relegation in the final stretch.
