LOOKOUT, Montserrat– Montserrat will seek to extend their four-match winning streak in Concacaf competition when they face Saint Lucia in Group B of League B of the Concacaf Nations League on Tuesday night at Blakes Estate Stadium in Lookout, Montserrat.
Montserrat continue to amaze, as they downed the Dominican Republic 2-1 in their CNL opener on Saturday.
For the Emerald Boys, there seems to be a new hero that emerges every time they take the field and on Saturday it was Adrian Clifton, whose second half goal capped Montserrat’s rally from a goal down.
The home fans will get another look at their team against a Saint Lucia side that gave El Salvador all sorts of problems before succumbing 3-0.
Having been through the perils of San Salvador’s Cuscatleco Stadium, Saint Lucia will be undaunted when they take the field on Tuesday night in Montserrat, and already showed in qualifying that they are more than capable of capturing a road result, evidenced by their 3-0 win at Antigua and Barbuda a year ago.
