MIAMI – The 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League continues with nations in League A striving to advance to the quarterfinals.
Group B will be on display as part of the CNL action on Thursday, featuring a battle between top two sides Nicaragua and Jamaica. Costa Rica and Guatemala will aim to keep pace at the top of Group A in Friday’s matches.

French Guiana vs. Honduras
French Guiana will host Honduras at Stade Municipal Dr. Edmard Lama in Cayenne, French Guiana.
French Guiana enters its second home fixture in the team’s League A debut campaign searching of its first win following a draw and a loss in the team’s opening matches.
Honduras collected three points from its first two games and will have an eye on climbing to one of the two top spots in Group B. David Ruiz will be a player to watch after scoring a goal in each of Los Catrachos first two games.
The match presents the first matchup between the sides in CNL play and fourth across all competitions in their history. Honduras leads the series with two wins to one for French Guiana.
Cuba vs. Trinidad and Tobago
Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago will meet at Estadio Antonio Maceo in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.
The meeting marks the first-ever matchup between the sides in the Nations League. Trinidad and Tobago lead the series in the previous encounters with 13 wins to six for Cuba, while six matches resulted in draws.
Cuba will host its second match of the tournament in search of a first win and extending its unbeaten run this campaign after two consecutive draws. Notably, the nation has lost only one of its last 11 CNL fixtures.
Trinidad and Tobago will aim for a first win after collecting its first point in its previous match.
Nicaragua vs. Jamaica
Nicaragua will face Jamaica at Estadio Nacional in Managua, Nicaragua in a battle for the top spot in Group B.
Jamaica collected four points in its first two games and currently sits atop Group B on goal difference. The Reggae Boyz will seek consecutive victories after their road win against Honduras. Michail Antonio will want to add to his tally after his first goal of the campaign in the team’s past match.
Nicaragua will have the opportunity to overtake Jamaica for first place and carry on with its unbeaten start to the campaign after a win and a draw in September. La Azul y Blanco is unbeaten in its last 14 CNL fixtures, with 10 wins and four draws. Widman Talavera scored a goal in each of the team’s opening matches and will be one player to keep an eye on.
The match will be the first between the sides in the CNL and third all-time across all competitions, with the series currently tied with one win apiece.
Guadeloupe vs. Martinique
Guadeloupe and Martinique are set face off at Stade Roger Zemi in Le Gosier, Guadeloupe.
This will be their first matchup in the CNL group stage after having been rivals in the 2018-19 qualifiers for the competition. Martinique leads in the all-time series with 10 wins to three wins for Guadeloupe, with the teams also having played out four draws.
The hosts will aim to climb to one of the top spots in Group A after the debutant’s historic first-ever League A win in their past match. Guadeloupe currently has three points and sitting fourth in the standings. A goal by Jordan Leborgne led the Caribbean nation to a win over Suriname.
Martinique will be searching for its first victory after registering a draw and a loss in its first two games.
Suriname vs. Costa Rica
Suriname and Costa Rica meet at the Dr. Ir. Franklin Essed Stadium in Paramaribo, Suriname in what will be the first encounter between the sides in CNL history. Costa Rica has won all five previous matches.
Suriname will aim for a win to climb to one of the top spots in the group. The Caribbean side currently is third in Group A with three points after a win and a loss in the team’s first matches of the campaign. Virgil Misidjan will be one of the team’s main offensive threats after contributing in two of Suriname’s three goals.
Costa Rica will want to maintain the pole position in Group A with the team currently having four points and being unbeaten after a win and a draw in September. Los Ticos were the only side to now allow a single goal in the opening matchups of the campaign last month.
Guyana vs. Guatemala
Guyana meets Guatemala at the National Track & Field Centre in Leonora Guyana for their first ever matchup in CNL action.
League A debutant Guyana will aim for its first win of the campaign after The Golden Jaguars claimed their first point in its previous game. Isaiah Jones will be one to watch after bagging a brace in the team’s last match.
Guatemala will play the road fixture in search of claiming the top spot in Group A. Los Chapines are currently second in the group on goal difference with four points and are unbeaten thus far this campaign with a win and a draw.
