MIAMI. - Saint Lucia intends to strengthen its hold on first place in Group A of League B as the 2023–24 Concacaf Nations League resumes on Sunday.

With nine points in its grasp, Saint Lucia could put itself a few steps closer to promotion to League A with a victory over Guadeloupe. Saint Kitts and Nevis will look to keep pace for a last-minute run to the top spot by building on its first win of the tournament.

Guadeloupe vs. Saint Lucia

Guadeloupe hosts Saint Lucia at the Sainte-Anne Municipal Stadium in Sainte-Anne, Guadeloupe. This will mark the fifth all-time meeting with both sides winning two apiece.

Les Gwada Boys are looking to recover from their first defeat of the campaign, 2-1, at Saint Lucia on Thursday. A win in front of its home fans would put Guadeloupe back into contention for first place in the group and promotion.

Jerome Roussillon scored the latest goal for Guadeloupe, while Ange Plumain came close to collecting his third goal of the tournament. The home side will be without Quentin Annette due to suspension.

Caniggia Elva and Jevick Mac Farlane provided the goals that delivered the victory for Saint Lucia. Gregson President was also a threat as he looked to build on his team-leading two assists.

Goalkeeper Vino Barclett, a Best XI selection in September, was also key with five saves against Guadeloupe. Saint Lucia has yet to tie or lose in this campaign.
