MIAMI, Florida – The 2022 Concacaf Men’s Under-17 Championship Qualifiers continued on Tuesday evening with a pair of games in Group C at the Estadio Olimpico Felix Sanchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The day was dominated by host nation Dominican Republic, who triumphed 8-0 over Dominica with Bladimil Jackson leading the way with a hat trick.
Jackson got his goals in the 3’, 48’ and 58’ and was joined on the scoresheet by Josue Nunez (8’), Alvaro Cabrera (12’), Nicolas Cruz (43’), Carlos Sarante (67’) and Alejandro Sapeg (71’).
In the day’s other game at the Estadio Olimpico Felix Sanchez, Saint Kitts and Nevis edged Cayman Islands 1-0. The lone goal in that contest came in the 33’ when Vyhonrai Francis converted a penalty from the spot to deliver the three points.
