FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup match officials chosen

ZURICH -- FIFA announced on Tuesday the list of referees and assistant referees who have been assigned to work the 2014 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. 

Of the 42 chosen match officials, nine are from CONCACAF.  Their names are below:

Miriam Patricia Leon Serpas (El Salvador)

Cardella Samuels (Jamaica)

Lucila Venegas Montes (Mexico)

ASSISTANT REFEREES (6)

Emperatriz Ivonne Ayala Lopez (El Salvador)

Princess Brown (Jamaica)

Enedina Caudillo Gomez (Mexico)

Lixy Esperanza Enriquez Guerrero (Mexico)

Stacy-Ann Greyson (Jamaica)

Kimberly Moreira Rojas (Costa Rica)

Costa Rica's Marianela Araya Cruz is part of the reserve list. 

The competition will take place in Costa Rica, March 15-April 4, 2014.

In addition to the host nation, Mexico and Canada are CONCACAF’s representatives.
