MIAMI, Florida – 2024 Concacaf Men’s Under-20 Championship Qualifying wraps on Saturday with several major encounters to decide the final three tickets to this summer’s 2024 Concacaf Men’s Under-20 Championship.
Guanajuato, Mexico, announced as host for the 2024 Concacaf Men's U-20 Championship
Group A
Group A will come to an end on Saturday at the Estadio Nacional in Managua, Nicaragua, beginning with Belize facing Anguilla. Neither side has a point thus far, so a chance to end on a high note is there for the taking. In their lone previous contest, Belize defeated Anguilla 4-0 in qualifying for Honduras 2022.
The second match of the day will decide the winner of Group A, as hosts Nicaragua take on Cuba with both teams even on nine points. With a superior goal difference, Nicaragua only require a draw to claim the top spot. Cuba defeated Nicaragua 6-1 in their only previous meeting in 2013.

Group B
The action kicks off early in Group B at the ABFA Technical Centre in Piggots, Antigua and Barbuda, with Suriname facing Turks and Caicos Islands. Suriname are currently third in the group with six points but still have a shot at finishing first.
A full three points against Turks and Caicos Islands and a draw between first-place El Salvador (7 points) and second-place Antigua and Barbuda (6 points) would propel Suriname to this summer’s Championship. Suriname were 7-0 winners in their previous meeting in 2015.
Only a win will suffice for either side in the second match of the day in Group B between El Salvador and Antigua and Barbuda. El Salvador sit atop the table, one point ahead of Antigua and Barbuda, but with Suriname lurking in third, the Cuscatlecos must target victory, while Antigua and Barbuda will be leaning on the home fans to help bring in a full three points. Their lone meeting was in 1980 in a 5-0 win for El Salvador.
Group C
Group C will conclude at the Estadio Doroteo Guamuch Flores in Guatemala City, Guatemala, starting with Aruba and Barbados. The winner will be assured of a third-place finish in the group. This will be their first ever meeting.
Host nation and group leaders (9 points) will take the field in the nightcap against second-place Curacao (7 points). The Chapines can advance to the Championship with a draw, while Curacao are facing a must-win. Guatemala lead the all-time series 4W-1D-2L, including a 3-1 win at USA 2018.
