Group A
Cuba vs. Panama
Cuba and Panama will open Group A seeking to get a historic first win. Both nations share an established history in men’s futsal, with their male counterparts disputing the 2024 Final of the Concacaf Futsal Championship, and will seek to accomplish the same on the women’s side.
Guatemala vs. Mexico
Hosts Guatemala and Mexico headline the first group matchday. Guatemala is one of the national teams with the most experience and history, created in 2010 to play in the previously organized Women’s Futsal World Cup Tournament.
Group B
Costa Rica vs. Canada
Costa Rica and Canada will open the group stage and write a new chapter in the competition.
Las Ticas already have international exposure in women’s futsal, having taken part in the now defunct Women’s Futsal World Tournament. The Central American nation has its own Futsal league, featuring players like Fabiola Ramirez and Ariel Barquero.
Canada finished runner-ups at the 2022 AMF Futsal Women's World Cup and have competed in previous international tournaments. The Northamericans feature the likes of Erica Hindmarsh and Shayla He.
Honduras vs. United States
After a thrilling win in the Play-In on Monday, Honduras advanced to Group B to face the United States.
Honduras stars Raquel Alvarado, who scored the Play-In winning goal against Nicaragua, and Katherine Amador, who closed her first participation with a hat-trick, will seek to add to their tallies.
