Miami, FL - Concacaf has confirmed the schedule for the 2023 Road to Concacaf W Gold Cup matches taking place during the FIFA Women's Match Window of November. These matches will determine the last eight women’s national teams that will advance to the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup, joining the seven teams that have already secured a berth.
The 2023 Road to Concacaf W Gold Cup, which serves as the qualifier for the 2024 W Gold Cup and is a key part of the "Concacaf W" women's football strategy the Confederation launched in 2019, kicked off in September and was followed by a series of exciting matches across Central America and the Caribbean in October.
The tournament’s closing 28 matches are scheduled to be played between November 29 – December 5, 2023. At the conclusion of the event, the top finishers in each League A group (three teams) will qualify for the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup Group Stage. Furthermore, the second-place finishers in each League A group (three teams) and the first-place finishers in each League B group (three teams) will advance to the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup Prelims.
The inaugural edition of the Concacaf W Gold Cup will be played between February 17 – March 10, 2024, in the United States. To date, seven nations have secured their participation in the competition. This includes the United States, Canada, and four CONMEBOL guests for the Group Stage, and El Salvador for the Prelims. More details about the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup are available here.
