MIAMI, Florida – Mexico return to action in the Road to W Gold Cup with a home date against Trinidad and Tobago in Group A of League A at the Estadio Hidalgo in Pachuca, Mexico.

Mexico started off their campaign with a bang, mounting a comeback to defeat Puerto Rico 2-1 in which a Maria Sanchez free kick ‘golazo’ and a Scarlett Camberos strike served as the scores.

Now, El Tricolor will turn their attention to a Trinidad and Tobago side that is playing its first match in this qualifying campaign.

While Trinidad and Tobago finished in fourth-place in their four-team group at the 2022 Concacaf W Championship, they showed their quality in 2022 CWC Qualifying by posting a 3W-1D-0L record and outscoring opponents 19-3 along the way.

Karyn Forbes, Asha James and Chelcy Ralph each had three goals in 2022 CWC Qualifying and all three have been named to the squad for Tuesday’s encounter in Mexico.
