MIAMI, Florida – Puerto Rico will be targeting a perfect October window in Group A of League A of the Road to W Gold Cup when they host Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday at the Estadio Juan Roman Loubriel in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

These two sides met last Friday in Trinidad and Tobago where Puerto Rico emerged with a crucial 2-1 victory, giving them three points after two matches.

The Boricuas can now pull level with first-place Mexico on points in the group with a win on Tuesday.

Skylynn Rodriguez and Jillienne Aguilera supplied the goals for Puerto Rico in Port of Spain, while Juelle Love and Jlo Varada Vazquez also played important roles. Love had an assist and took three shots on target, while goalkeeper Varada Vazquez had five saves and two clearances.

Trinidad and Tobago can get themselves back into the Group A mix with a win away and showed some offensive firepower in their first meeting with Puerto Rico.

Alexcia Ali scored the Trinidad and Tobago goal, while Asha James was always in the middle of the team’s best scoring chances.

GK Simone Eligon has also been solid and made six saves and two clearances last Friday.
