Miami, FL – Concacaf and FIFA have confirmed the schedule for the region’s men’s FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches taking place during the International Match Window of March 2022.
The Final Round of Concacaf Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 (sometimes referred to as the "Octagonal”), has included eight national teams playing each other home and away. The Octagonal kicked off in September 2021 and will conclude play after the FIFA Match Window of March 2022.

At the end of the Final Round, the top three finishing teams will qualify directly to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The fourth-placed team will advance to a FIFA Intercontinental Playoff where they will face the winners of the OFC qualifiers. The draw for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Intercontinental Playoffs took place on November 26. The pairings are as follows: AFC Team vs CONMEBOL Team and Concacaf Team vs OFC Team.
The OFC Qualifiers will be played in a mini-tournament format featuring eight teams and consisting of a round-robin group stage, semi-finals and the final. All matches will take place in Qatar from March 14-30, 2022.
The single leg Intercontinental playoffs will take place on June 13-14, in Doha, Qatar.
