MIAMI, Florida – Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Championship Qualifying continued on Saturday with another three matches.
In Group F at the Estadio Olimpico Felix Sanchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Canada defeated Dominica, 21-0.
Kaylee Hunter (7’, 30’, 43’, 78’), Annabelle Chukwu (23’, 25’, 38’, 49’) and Liana Tarasco (63’, 86’, 87’, 90+2’) had four goals each, while Nikolina Istocki (3’, 9’, 45+2’) notched a hat trick and were joined on the scoresheet by Sadie Brisbin (14’), Mya Angus (27’), Juliette Perreault (41’), Isabelle Chukwu (52’), Maree-anne Van Doesburg (65’) and Keira Martin (72’).
The Stadion Rignaal Jean Francisca in Willemstad, Curacao was the setting for El Salvador’s 12-0 win versus Cayman Islands in Group A.
Breanna Medina (13’, 49’, 88’) had a hat trick, while Nahomy Portillo (53’, 79’) and Giselle Marquez (50’, 86’) each bagged braces. Keila Lino (10’), Alyssa Jurado (23’), Janelle Torres (33’), Camila Brower (33’) and Beatriz Ramos (79’) also found the back of the net.
The nightcap in Willemstad saw Trinidad and Tobago down the home side, 5-0, also in Group A.
The star of the night for Trinidad and Tobago was J’eleisha Alexander, who scored four goals (4’, 17’, 32’, 47’) and was joined on the scoresheet by Nikita Gosine (36’).
